Debs Park

Ernest E. Debs Park is located in northeastern Los Angeles, just north of downtown L.A. It covers close to 300 acres, and most of it is undeveloped native habitat, notably southern California Black Walnut woodland. In 2003, the National Audubon Society opened the Audubon Center at Debs Park, its flagship urban nature center on the west coast. The Center is now a major gathering place for nature education and study near downtown Los Angeles.
